FIFO Bottles are you new best friend!

Hey Ya’ll! Well I had high hopes that mom was going to get to head home today but it looks like she needs a few extra days at the hospital to get totally well. So I’m doing what I can to keep busy while sitting here with her. I thought I would share one of my favorite tips for storing your paint (affiliate links below).  I first learning about FIFO bottles when I was researching ideas for how to open stubborn paint lids. I’m a super messy painter and always drip paint down the sides of cans. A metal top can is no problem but those aggravating screw top cans drive me insane. They seal up like concrete!!! So initially that’s why I got these bottles but they are so much more handy than just that one reason.  They are originally for food service companies to store condiments and sauces in. This makes them perfect for paint too since they are air tight and keep your paint from drying out! I love that once you pour your paint in, all you have to do afterwards is grab and go!!! I simply grab the color I want to use, give it a quick shake and then squeeze out as much or little as I need. Then when I’ve used up all the paint I just rinse them out and they are ready to reuse. ( Watch this great little video I made for Restored Bluegrass: https://www.facebook.com/restoredbluegrass/videos/1482631585190181/) No more furiously banging jars to loosen the lids or scratched knuckles fr0m wayward screwdrivers under the rim. This is the cheapest I’ve found them online! https://amzn.to/2s1nQj4
